Campaign surpasses $700 million milestone
A campaign message from the chancellor
UC Davis continues to innovate at the intersection of the world’s most critical issues: food, water, health, society, energy and the environment — and The Campaign for UC Davis is playing a key role in our efforts.
I am inspired by the tremendous support we have seen for UC Davis during the campaign. It is with great pride and gratitude that I share with you that we have surpassed the $700 million mark toward our $1 billion campaign goal. And, in fiscal year 2010–11, more than 40,000 donors committed more than $117.6 million in gifts to further UC Davis’ mission, marking the fifth year in a row that philanthropic support has exceeded $100 million.
In this newsletter, you will find a sampling of the many ways in which philanthropy is advancing the stellar work of our faculty and preparing the next generation of leaders.
